Melissa Dugan is a life coach and humanitarian who brings her health and communications focus to Pharmstrong’s everyday operations. She sees herself as the customer’s loyal advocate and is committed to helping everyone around her discover—and live—their life’s purpose. With a background in art, marketing, and management, Melissa spent many years managing educational programs. She, like her husband, uses CBD daily. Melissa wants every customer to know that Pharmstrong is committed to helping them make the best decisions for their health.
Ty Storlie
For over 20 years, Ty Storlie was a finance executive for some of the country’s largest financial institutions. Ty was committed to his tailored-suit corporate lifestyle that included living out of a suitcase and enduring the stressful grind of unattainable quotas and hollow goals. Ty was finding financial success and climbing the corporate ladder. In 2017, he returned to his rural roots, became a hemp farmer, got his hands dirty, drove tractors, wore cowboy hats, and was thankful for being outside every beautiful, sunny, Colorado day. Now, he spends most days in the Breckenridge store. Ty is passionate about CBD and its benefit to his loved ones.

Like you, we missed important times with friends and family because of our bad backs, sore knees, aching muscles, fatigue, and stress. Our bodies were starting to hold us back from activities we enjoyed, and yes, we couldn’t ignore the pain and stiffness that came with aging. We tried to push through it, but it only got worse. All we wanted to do was enjoy our lives, but the pain always got in the way.
I gave up skiing, Ty gave up rugby, I couldn’t play golf with friends, and running would make my neck hurt for days!
It wasn’t fair!
Our Search For Relief - What We Discovered
Many of our friends and family struggled with sore bodies and injuries too. Our search for relief began with conventional medications. We had some success with over-the-counter medications, but they weren’t addressing the root cause of our pain. We also looked into alternative treatments such as acupuncture and massage, but we weren’t finding lasting relief. Finally, we were determined to find something that would genuinely help, and that’s when we stumbled upon CBD.
Our Journey to Start a CBD Company
2018 was the beginning of the CBD boom, and living in Colorado gave us the advantage of trying local CBD products. It took a while to find the right products, but soon we took CBD regularly and loved the results.
After experiencing the benefits of CBD firsthand, we knew we wanted to help others in their search for relief. That’s when we decided to start our own CBD company.
We started Pharmstrong in 2018 to help people take control of their health and find natural relief from chronic pain, injuries, and soreness.
But as we continued our research, we realized that the CBD industry was plagued by problems caused by poor quality, unreliable information, and product contamination.
